Primary Clients: Low-income, homeless youth, youth ages 16-24

Street Outreach
⦁ Provide vital information regarding available resources to meet the needs of homeless youth, including housing, education, employment, medical, mental health and other support services
⦁ Provide food, clothing, and hygiene products
⦁ Harm reduction counseling to address the risks associated with street life
Mentoring
⦁ Provide mentoring programs to deter teen pregnancy, gang involvement, increase high school graduation rates, and foster a love for learning. Mentors provide stability, and support by developing an effective study plan, providing tutoring, and processing the challenges experienced due to unstable housing.
⦁ Our program not only provides necessities such as food, clothing and toiletries, but also assist with educational support, resume and interview preparation, obtaining birth certificates, identification and developing life skills.


Housing
⦁ Provide resources and referrals for available housing programs
⦁ Assistance in locating and taking care of an apartment
⦁ Life skills training, including the fundamentals of living alone and supporting one's self
⦁ Developing a follow-up plan after being placed in an independent living situation
⦁ Provide food baskets (as needed)
⦁ Clothes
⦁ Furniture
⦁ Counseling and moral support
Suicide Prevention
⦁ Enhance general awareness about suicide through public education.
⦁ Teaching the risk and protective factors and warning signs of suicidal thinking and behavior on the community, local, state, and federal levels.
⦁Intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide and connect individuals with community resources trained in intervention.

Training & Speaking
IRL Coaching has an extensive background regarding training and speaking, specializing in Suicide Prevention and Awareness. IRL Coaching can conduct small group breakout sessions as well as large audiences, workshops, and conferences, seminars, and faith-based events.
